How to Free up space in Microsoft Windows 11 / Windows 10 OneDrive

If you are using OneDrive to save all your documents. It may come to a point where OneDrive does not have enough space and you will either need to purchase more space or free  up space on your OneDrive. To free up space on your OneDrive, perform the following:

1. Open File Explorer
2. Navigate to your OneDrive folder by clicking on the OneDrive icon
3. Select the desired files and folders or right click on the OneDrive icon
4. Select Free up space from the menu.
5. Files that are not in use will be moved to the cloud and will be available Online
